This is a picture of grandma “cucu” pronounced “show show” in Kikuyu. She is the crazy old grandma who I’ve fallen in love with. On this particular day a friend of mine and I gave her a bath behind her shed of a home and she was clean for at least an 20 minutes 
.
Please pray for her, we’re believing for her salvation. She is the grandma of Virginia – the beer making mother I’ve mentioned before. We’ve continued to love her and care for her family and one by one they are coming to Jesus, it is a testimony of God’s love for the poor and abandoned. The story is such a weaving of God’s amazing grace, and we are still seeing daily transformation happening.
CuCu needs a hip replacement, she has not walked for three years and she sits in the dirt and mud every day. We are asking God that one day she will “rise up and walk” – and glorify His name. Slowly she is allowing us to speak to her about Jesus, she used to yell at me when I mentioned His name, but day by day we are seeing a miracle unfold.
